Peregrine never "made" any rims. They were either rebranded UKAI or Arayas. And Peregrine hubs were rebranded Suzue units.

My point was....Peregrines ARE Arayas or Ukais. the hubs are made by Suzue. So there's no difference unless they are the double-wall version.

Put it this way, Araya's were the rims used a majority of the time.......

Peregrine made wheels.   The rims were Ukai, and there were 3 different types.  (eh there's are thread, or info about this somewhere). 

Araya 7x vs Ukai speedlines and single walls...  all bent easily, chrome or anodized.  both bulged out on the side with enough air in the tire. 

Araya 7x vs Ukai Equalizers aka the HP 48 rim we all know it by.    HP 48's didn't bent like the 7x's,  They also didn't bent outward from too much air in the tire (over 70psi).   

both the 7x and super 7x (the later double walled rim that came out in 96) were lighter than the HP 48 rim.

All were Japan Quality, good welds, round from the factory, even if the chrome peeled on the Arayas, it still seemed better than whatever Sun used on their rims.  Sun also didn't weld the seems until they moved to over-seas.

I've never seen a "true" Peregrine wheel with Araya rims.   Araya and Ukai Speedlines look almost the same from a distance. 

Wheels that Redline had made looked almost identical, just with "Redline 48's on the hubs, which were either Suzue or Joytech, and those normally had Araya 7x rims.   It is pretty easy to re-decal.

There were Yo! 48s too,  the same as the Redlines, just with Yo! on the hubs and rims.
