The "age" record for a National event win was set at Louisville last year by Phares Parson of Georgia at age 78.

Phares is one cool dude.  I met up with him several years back at a Dixieland Nationals BMX show in Atlanta.  He said he started racing at 50!!!yikes

Gave me some awesome inspiration.
