77stroker2 here I AM! 2013 Tucker Trickform 24 reborn
So I have been gone because I didn't have a job, then I got one and I worked my ass off from 6am-4pm everyday and after 5-6 months I got laid off Wed because of this retarded economy.
So I got laid off Wed, and Thurs I went to build my bike because it was time for a ride.
So most of yall know this is what my old bike looked like.
Rick @ Standard - Now a hall of famer helped build this sweet bike. It is half Trickstar half GT performer in a 24" bike.
It was originally candy green with all white and black hardware.
It got hard to ride because I had old school calipers on it and I got sick of having to adjust them mid-ride multiple times.

[img][/img]
[img][/img]
So Will @ London Bikes here in Arlington, TX welded on some 990 mounts and the frame standers. I figured since he is such a reputable welder it did not affect the value.
Then I had the bike chromed and all the blue and chrome I planned on doing to my Skyway 24" I just did to this.
Here are the decals
I'll take better pictures later. And RetroBMX I will get a hold of you soon.

I used blue skateboard grip tape as Will @ London bikes does some pretty cool pegs. Then I just designed the peg decals to go under it.
I am going to do chrome cranks later, and def some blue pedals.
For now I am happy but I will change some things here and there.

This doesn't make any sense you rebuilt your bike because your couldn't dial your brake ? I've never seen a brake yet that couldn't be dialed in. It still looks like a carpet queen as we still haven't seen one picture of a trick being pulled on the Trickform. Sorry to be negative but just calling it like i see it.

I don`t have any carpet queens in my collection they all get ridden. The intrikat has been parted and the ti spoked wheels are on my custom Standard flatland bike. The ti spokes hold up just just fine thanks so much for your concern as always little buddy

any ti wheel will hold up great if it is not used. but you keep believing a radial laced ti spoked wheel holds up fine doing flatland. any rider in thier right mind would not use ti spokes for flat.

I like light bikes, have 30 + completes & money to replace spokes when they break which hasn`t happened yet. Don`t hate on me for building what I like, I ride almost everyday so I`m not a poser by any means nor am I the greatest rider. I am allowed to post a comment just like anyone else so don`t ruin it for everyone else just because I get under your skin for some reason I`ve never done anything to you. LOL I really don't care if he don't like me. And it doesn't offend me when someone says something negative.
I really didn't like the caliper brakes on this bike, I've had 990 and calipers on a 24 and I changed my mind on this one.

Awesome, looks much better now!
Just never was a fan of candy green, the color itself is cool but I could never find a color scheme I liked to go with it

Who gives a shit its his bike? It looks great and pulling a trick on a cruiser sounds hard as hell anyway, the only thing I can do on my 24 is a bunnyhop...

This is the one thing I hate about the museum , everything gets twisted into something's it's not. I was never trying to belittle anyone, but as a fellow owner of a custom built Standard I know that you have a ton of money into this bike. I would really enjoy seeing pictures of the bike being ridden like i'm sure you built it for. Rebuilding bikes costs a ton of money I just hate to see nice bikes be built and not ridden as they were meant to be. I never called you a poser and never would that is disrespectful and I'm not that kind of person. I'm glad you like the GJS I've owned it for almost 30 years I rode the crap out of it in the 80's and it still gets ridden today.
