What the Auburn CR24 should've been!!!
Well guys one day I was going thru the site and I accidentally saw RaiderGabe's 87 performer that he stretched into a 24. At first I wanted a performer too but didnt want to spend the money on another bike. The only other bike I had waiting for a restoration was a 96 auburn I had picked up sometime in October 2012. So I was like "HELL YEAH" i told Gabe that would be sick, Auburn never did a 24 with the removable triangle. Well guys I want to thank Gabe for making this possible, dude is cool as hell and does really good work. This restoration might take me a while since I'm taking care of my daughter fulltime now. Well here she is, Ill be posting progress pix as I get stuff done. Enjoy guys!
What inspired me to do it
This is how I bought it.
The first set of pix are from Gabe

And I took these today, the finished product. Mocked it up with the cr bars.

I can not sit still. I have been tested for A.D.D. and A.D.H.D. and have neither. I don't need coffee, I just need a B.M.X. or surfboard to consistently ride and I'll be happy.

Very interesting. Bet it will ride just like a big 20" because the geometry hasnt changed. What do you have planned as far colors for the frameset?
On the look out for Bonzai frames, Cardboard Lords Emanicaptor/Liberator frames, Hawk frames, and anything BRAND X!!!

I was debating between black and the team green. But I've decided to go with the team green.

Wouldnt have been alittle better to transplant the dropouts on the fork to a 24†fork instead of splicing?

No, because then your not using the original auburn forks., you would be using other non auburn forks with auburn drop outs. Not a true auburn. ![]()
