Pink Master Question.......
Ok, So ive heard the story that pink was a trial color used on 5 Masters and 5 Sports in late '85.........
If thats the case why am I always seeing Genuine Haro Master " PINK " Decal sets on Ebay ?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NOS-Original- … 35c3b89725
If they only made 5 for a trial, why manufacture the decal sets ?

No, they were pink. And they faded, bad.
According to popular belief, the plan was to make pink a production color, and they mocked up five of each. They printed replacement stickers for them too, but there was some kind of production issue and they scrapped the pink color, boxed the 5 of each and randomly sent them out rather than go through the expense of repainting them. The stickers sat around because no one had pink bikes to replace the stickers on.
The question is how did they distribute them? Someone theorized that they gave them to top shops, but by random chance three of the four Masters wound up in the Northeast and one (mine) came to the shop by "Mistake". A green one was ordered and the Pink showed up, and the distributor nor Haro would take it back. Seems to me it was totally random.
I thrashed your grail, and I loved every second of it.

Re: Pink Master Question.......
In my experience, Most repop decals on ebay — are listed as "NOS".
Sometimes because sellers either don't know what "NOS" actually means (using it as a key term they picked up from looking at other sales). Or worse, they're trying to scam a buyer into thinking that they're getting something original.

Those are from my friend Dave. He has some really good connections. They are not fake. I have gotten lots of super rare Haro stuff from him.
