Question about a General Lee.
I recently purchased this bike as a 1999 DK General Lee and after looking through the bikes listed in the Museum and searching the Reference section I was un able to find any year DK General Lee with the same decals as this one has. Now I know there are a lot of variations of this bike and I have seen others in person that I have not been able to find images of (an old friend had a dark blue General Lee with bright orange decals)...
Anyways I was just wondering if anyone here had ever seen these style decals on a General Lee before? And if so what year was it? I don't have the serial number for this bike on hand as the bike is still in the trunk of my car because it is -5 degrees out today and I ain't going out to get it.
Thanks in advance. ![]()

Re: Question about a General Lee.
They only did the gusset with the chainstay 990's for 2 or 3 years. 1999 +/- a year.
My signature doesn't define me.

Selling most everything I have.
Help the Hauler(SE) check my trade thread for the hauler build.
I want to build it as close as my high school bike as possible.

Re: Question about a General Lee.
It's a late '99 into 2000 General. The 97/98's don't have the full TT/DT/HT gusset and have 3/8 drops ![]()
And the Walmart Generals have seatstay mounted brake lugs.
