Dyno Shoes?!?

These have been lying on the floor in the back of a bike shop, untouched, for the last 20+ years.  I had to have them.  Too bad they're 2 sizes too small for my feet....

This is NOT a "for sale" thread.  I will hang 'em on a F&F combo for the time being.

Re: Dyno Shoes?!?

Not looking to sell.  I just hand't seen these before and wanted to post them for others to see and or add some info to. They'll look killer with a survivor display.

Re: Dyno Shoes?!?

I was co-sponsored by Dyno in the mid 80s. Those came out when Dyno was blowing up (1986-87), and when Dyno was still a top name brand. They were pimping everything from bike frames to riding gear. Dyno sneaks were a lot like Vans, but with the Dyno name. Do a search on eBay. You'll see some of the styles they had. I had a couple pairs back in 86. Shoulda kept 'em...

Re: Dyno Shoes?!?

I saw a pair in a local vintage store here in Cleveland like 2 years ago . They were Hi-top , almost like Vision Street Wear with Dyno logos all over them , pretty cool but a size too small otherwise I would be wearing them . cool

Re: Dyno Shoes?!?

Didn't vision try to make a comeback a few years ago? I bought a pair from Marshall's or TJ Max and they were selling them at Sears too. Probably aimed at the failed skater re-trend. Anyway it's a Dyno thread so my favorites were the "Fish" shoes, even though they didn't seem to last as long as Vans. And after a few days of hard riding, they even smelled a bit fishy:D

Re: Dyno Shoes?!?

New to this forum.  Just uncovered an old *MINT* pair of Dyno shoes.  Low tops blue/white with "Dyno" written all over them.  Never worn!  and to top it off.......I traded for them at the 1988 Dyno Urban Assault Tour and they're signed by Dave Voelker, Dino Deluca and Brett Hernandez.

I forgot about them for 25 years until I cleaned out my parents basement!

Re: Dyno Shoes?!?

I have 3 pair of Dyno's I purchased off eBay as NOS. Made the mistake of actually riding in a pair of the hightop Mondo's. They are so brittle from age that the rubber on the toe top cracked all up. Cool items to have from BITD. But tread lightly in them or they will crumble on ya! lol

I LOVED my "have a day" shirt. Someone needs to make those again.

Also wore my "In search of fish" tour tank top everywhere.
