4 bar cruiser 26"
split tube cruiser that had a tank and front book rack in it's early days, but that's all gone and only the frame is left. These parts are not original. The rear drop outs have several holes for perhaps a sissy bar/banana seat positioning? rear dropouts are pinched inside the seat/chain stays (cheap Murray style), and has a plate with mount hole for kickstand. I believe it is '60s or earlier. Has wide spread holes for large head badge.
Any vintage cruiser experts here?
Need used 20" items: red or blue metal flanged Tuff Wheel II front, yellow Tuff Wheel I rear, red Tuff I rear, Pro-class silver front wheel, gold Araya 7x or Ukai rear wheels 1.75 or 1.5, nice silver Araya 7c 20x1 3/8 rear wheel w/black low-flange hub, Motomag II rear

Re: 4 bar cruiser 26"
i think this is a 24'' bike because they used to have fat balloon tires on the 24'' rims, which is probably equal to a 26'' wheel with a thin tyre. this is an early schwinn style bike and your right it probably had a sissy bar and banana seat. i think its just a 24'' dragster (muscle bike). i have an early 70's 24'' dragster like the one below (same style).

Re: 4 bar cruiser 26"
thanks soillam. I see the sissy mount for sure. This has a twin top tube, and the one you found is a typical beach cruiser style with single top tube.
I've seen a Hawthorne cruiser with twin top tubes, but does not have the fat middle tube.
