So I have had this Rocket frame for a while. So I teamed up with my buddy Justin at Porkchopbmx to do something cool, fun and unique. To build a bike with as many parts from his store as we can. So here is the build thread and I hope you like it... Rocket forks are in the mail, and Paul at RETrOBMX.COM is doing our custom TI railed seat..

I HAVE USED ALL THESE PRODUCTS IN THE PAST WITH NO ISSUES AND LOVE THEM, THE SERVICE AND JUSTIN FOR HELPING ME AND MY MIDWEST BMX PROGRAM.. HOPE YOU ALL LIKE THE BUILD, AND YES THIS WILL BE GIVEN AWAY LATER ON DURNING THE YEAR!!!!

Pictures show different shades of purple, but it all matches pretty darn well!!!

Personally Nick, I'd recommend picking a purple and sticking with it. It's just one of my pet peeves. I hate it when people have like 6 different shades of a color on a bike. I like the color of the rims and hubs, and I think the purple anno on a lime green frame will look good. You don't want to hear what I think of those Rocket frames.

I sure hope to see this one to the end without all the hate. Paul at Retro (StokeSeats) is awesome! I look forward to reading about / seeing the build. Great idea to showcase Porkchop parts!

People love them or hate them. This is one of the later ones I was told, by profile that didnt crack as easy. not a pro on them, but love the uniqueness..

They (the aluminum Rockets) were all made by Caloi in Brazil. Profile bought the second batch after Rocket refused the delivery based on the durability issues demonstrated by the first batch.

I'm in for the purple. Looking good so far. I didn't know porkchop had his own stems! They like !!

either thinking of doing this in the Monster energy green anodized look, or chrome base with trans black on top with all the purple, or all chrome powder and purple.

I say go for the green with purple. It'll have that old school Kawasaki look.
