Either is good smile Do not use the black pads though! Black pads streak the crap out of colored mags

I like the white calipers, the blue caliper does not match your spider.  smile

Re: My Mongoose m1 project

Glad to see I'm not the only one building one of these. Mine is white and an '85 (white and black scheme). I figured it would be a cheap build for summer riding, although the farther I get into it the more I spend more than I intended. lol

The blue caliper would be sick if it matched the spider, but since it doesnt........

cool,  white and black will look good, Ive been using just extra parts on it for now, untill I decide what I want on it. I have a hard time decciding sometimes. Ive built a couple bikes 2 or 3 times before I got them the way i wanted, prob be the same with this.

Cool looking project!

I'm looking for a pink/purple/lavender 1985 M-1 if anyone comes across one, or just an 85 M-1 f/f.

There's one in the Museum with yellow mags, maybe not lavender but not dark purple.

very nice goose, im liking that padset,  if I come accross a padset on a deal ill get one.  but this is just a side project. Ive got a lot of money going into 2 other projects at the moment. so any costly item will have to wait, I think the one I saw before like that was 75.00  I should have grabbed it at the time but it was a drive and I didnt want to make the journey.

Its a mongoose fork, its off an expert I had sitting around. the chrome was shot on the fork so I had it powdered.  Im going to try to find a m1 fork on down the line.  Ive got 2 other projects going that have been getting most of my money and resources.  I will eventually get a m1 fork
