What would it take....

What would it take for you to sell your Bike(s)/Part(s) that you would NEVER sell?

I have a couple bikes I REALLY never plan to sell, no matter what.
BUT, under the right (wrong) circumstances and the right offer I'm sure I would HAVE TO sell.

So, would it take a massive family finacial problem, or just a REDICULOUSLY high offer or ????? for you to actually
let your prized possesion move on???

Just Curious

Re: What would it take....

Something crazy like a family emergency, illness ect ect.

I'm sure if the right offer came along I'd do it. I'd regret my decision for a while and eventually move on I'm sure. They are only possessions and in the grand scheme of things, meaningless.

I've made the mistake of selling bikes when I needed the money. so as of now, any ridiculous offer and I would jump on it.

Family emergency or medical bills. - I had to do it recently, but the bikes can be replaced. A life cannot.

Re: What would it take....

I could see selling everything but if I was down to my last Sting it would be tough. The money isn't the issue but there's a few parts on it that are so rare I might not ever be able to find them ever again. Certain items are just to hard to find again.

NEEDED:
Desperate for Schwinn stamped brake cable from 79,80,81 or 82.

Re: What would it take....

If it comes to keeping a roof over my family's heads or selling my bikes then I would sell,
I think you just have to be realistic, a nice bit of chrome won't keep the snow of my children. wink
Saying that, if I could sell the wife.............lol
