1979 SE Racing OM Flyer 26

First Generation OM Flyer

1979 Om Flyer/ w Cowboy cut forks
Parts:
1979 Om Flyer frame, chrome. Not sure if these are original decals or finish, but they sure look like it. Decals are really faded and chrome is in decent shape, but some small pitting and a little flaking. Structurally though, frame is in great shape.
LG cowboy cut forks.
OG first gen power wing cruiser bars... with super thin crossbar and OG decal
Hatta Speedline headset
Real Inverted Pro Neck polished
Oakley 1's
Dia Compe 1080 w/ lefty lever (all I could find right now- so bolts are facing up, oh well)
Xcaliber seat clamp
SE post
Brown Elina Super Pro
Campy 175 BMX cranks
Campy ring
Suntour BMX pedals
2 NOS Izumi chains
Ukai 26 X 1.75 w/ Sunshine 2nd gen. hubs
NOS Tioga comp 3 (blue/grey)
Love riding this thing!
change it up all the time, but it's been built like this for a while.....so it may just stay this way!?!

Re: 1979 SE Racing OM Flyer 26

Thnx for all the nice comments and thnx for the feedback on the bars. Early powerwings would make sense, since the bars were weathered exactly the same as the frame. Can't find much info on early powerwings, but these are 28 1/2" wide, 6" from base to center of crossbar and have a real small crossbar. If those all match, maybe we can tag these things!

Re: 1979 SE Racing OM Flyer 26

I have the same bars on my OM. The earlier OM power wings had that smaller cross bar. Great bike FYI thanks for posting.
