I have eleven minty fresh dia compe MX 1000 in Black with the original pads in soft working order. Like new. I literally opened the box from DC they were shipped in 25 years ago about 2 weeks ago, Some have shorter posts for rear, some longer for front.

I have 10 dated dia compe front brake cables, non potts, date 5-19-86

I have dated rear DC brake cables with the following dates: some photos of the dates are clearer than others. If you need better pick of these let me know

I've gotten many suggestions.

So here's the deal. I don't have enough rear cables to give ever one a set of brakes and 2 rear dated cables

I do have enough to sell six lots of a set of brakes, a rear dated and a front dated

So l'll do 6 lots for $300. For that price you get a seat of brakes, pads, a front cable and a rear cable and 2 tech 4 levers (both fronts on the levers). Lots will be designated by the date on the year cable. If people dib they must say which lot and PayPal williamkmoritz@yahoo.com

I didn't plan to sell them. I just want to trade them for stuff I worked on when I was a kid. Turned 16 in 1990 so my bike days were 84-89, I'm a GT/Dyno Guy.

I just wanted to trade a pair for a pair of white nippons, All I got was requested to buy them. $60 for the brake is a very very fair price. $20 for NOS pads, they are $10 if you buy 2012 pads. $25 for the front dated cables is fair. $40 for the back dated cables is fair and $40 for the NOS 85 tech 4's is fair.

Problem is that its 47 items and even at reasonable prices, 47 items from 1985 gets expensive fast.

I just don't have time to sell it one by one. I sold a brake set and a dated cable. they were thrilled with the price and the price per item was more than I've listed these for.

Its just that I'm trying to sell 47 items

Some one with more experience than me should probably sell them split. Everyone who contacted me when I was just trying to trade for a set of nippons, just wanted to buy all my stuff, so finally I just said OK.

I'd be happy to spread this around if anyone has a suggestion how. No one has use for 47 items, I understand

Note the prior post. He offered 50 per rear cable, I only wanted 40. That's 20% I left on the table trying to sell the lot cheaper than one at a time.

Some body tell me a fair price for one and I'll try to do it. Everyone who pm'd when I was just trying to trade wanted all of them.

Taking suggestions. I figured some one with a larger out fit would split them up and sell them one at a time

Many times, I've seen sellers list x amount of like items at y price and use dibs rules. Usually on awesome stuff like this at the right price, buyer A dibs, for example, 1 front 1 rear cable, buyer b dibs a caliper, so on, and the BUYERS do a good job of keeping track of what's left until the feeding frenzy is over. Upon payment, you throw the item(s) in a PO set rate box, and drop them off at the PO once a week - you can take as many of those boxes as you want - and then you laugh all the way to the bank. You could probably sell a lot like this in one night. Good luck man.

I'd recommend editing your 1st post so that the a.d.d crowd won't pass over the deal.
If you match what you have below, I'd guess that you'll sell the other 5 lots quickly.
