Jay Miron - where is he now?
Anybody know what Jay Miron is up to these days? Sold Macneil Bikes in 2010 and dropped out of site.
Just curious how he's spending his time these days.

Re: Jay Miron - where is he now?
I read an interview about him after he said he was done with his career. he stated that he tried keeping a bike around to ride lightly for a while, but didn't exactly have the personality for just "cruising" haha. he said something along the lines that he couldn't just go out and ride lightly, for him he had to keep going all out and pushing it, and at that point in his life he was done with all the crazy shit. he's mostly keeping up with his social life from what I understand.
What's the point of having a bike if you're not going to ride it?

Re: Jay Miron - where is he now?
Thats totally correct tcbmx!
I personally met Jay- Dave Mirra- Dennis MCcoy in FL 1996 games and they are is the coolest dude ever!
Sometimes is better just to keep the sport as part of a riding lifestyle rather than just worry about it like a career, is always better to do what you know best because is what you love to do instead of just doing it without a purpose.
As flatlander i always liked Jay style of riding same as Andrew Farris, both from Canada and in my opinion the were the best mid-school riders from Canada at that time.
They will return and ride one day! Hopefully soon!![]()

I can not sit still. I have been tested for A.D.D. and A.D.H.D. and have neither. I don't need coffee, I just need a B.M.X. or surfboard to consistently ride and I'll be happy.

Re: Jay Miron - where is he now?
That "Cribs" episode is great - very cool to see how he was living at the time...
Ace Inc. - really? Excellent - good for him for trying something totally new! I was really wondering what somebody like Jay does after all his accomplishments in BMX. New Horizons.
Is his business up and running?

I was thinking the same thing - that'd be fun!
If you get a chance, I'd LOVE to see a pic of that prototype frame on the bike shop wall...if you ever happen into the shop.
Thanks for the update, Ace. Good to hear he's doing something he likes.

They all still ride, just not that hard anymore. No one ever gives up riding for good, especially when it was such a big part of their life for so long.Nowadays they just do it for fun.
I saw Dave a few years ago riding this sick concrete park a few blocks from my place that was built by locals known as " Leeside ".
