Looking for help from the BMX(museum) community - RIP Tricky Trev
I lost a friend yesterday. But someone lost a son, a brother, a husband and a Dad. Trev was 40 years old, and celebrated his birthday 4 days ago with his family (his oldest son shares the same birth date). After a dinner night with the family, they all returned home, put the kids to bed, wife too, Trev decided to have a beer in the basement and watch some TV. Trev was found a few hours later by his wife not breathing. Trev was rushed to the hospital and hooked up to the machine. Trev suffered a massive heart attack and died yesterday morning. Trev has 3 kids (2 boys and a girl). His daughter was just born 2 weeks ago.
I've known this family for 30 years. Trev's father (Harry) was they guy who took us to the BMX track, snowboarding , fishing, cottage, gave us our first beers..... you name. They took me in as one of their own. His dad did things for me that my own father could not due to his work schedule.
I want to be Harry, I want to do things for Trev's kids that he will not be able to do now.
I am looking for any donations, preferably pit bikes (16 inchers, 14 inch even 12 inch) any condition, any make , any parts that may fit. Race mini's will also do....... what ever you got i will fix up, paint , sticker up and present to his kids from Trev (with the help of us). I will pay for shipping if that is an issue.
Please no bashing (unless you are donating a bolt on bash guard), Thanks for your time.

Don't take anything I say seriously.... unless it's bike related.

I'm really sorry for the loss of your Friend...I feel terrible for his wife and kids ![]()
Respect yourself enough to walk away from anything that no longer serves you, grows you, or makes you happy.
Beware of false knowledge; it is more dangerous than ignorance.

yeah that is the worst part.... His wife will have a lot of support from friends and family.....but it will never be the same for the kids.
