The Rise of BMX Freestyle - My book coming soon

http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd272/DOMPHIPPSIO/ScreenShot2013-01-06at52137PM_zpsd44e17c5.png

144 Pages of insights and pictures from the era 1978 - 1986. Many pictures have never been seen from the archives of the riders covered in this volume.
Riders- Bob Morales, Eddie Fiola, Ron Wilton, Rich Sigur, Craig Campbell, Mike Dominguez, Tony Murray, Marc McGlynn, Ron Wilkerson, Brian Blyther, Dave Nourie, Terry Jenkins and of course Dennis McCoy. Rick M and Joe Johnson both joined at the end of the period and will be covered in detail in the second volume (if that happens) which covers 1987 - 1991.

Dom, is this the book Bob referenced in his Albion interview or is he working on his own?

Re: The Rise of BMX Freestyle - My book coming soon

This is a book that I have written on behalf of Haro bikes. Bob has plans to release a book at some point but more of a coffee table book I think. This is a breakdown of the early years of Haro Designs and the riders/employees that helped to make it such a great company. Every person that I approached for interview, images or insights dug really deep.

I'm in touch with Paul DeLarrio as well as the Alder brothers. Would you want me to PM you their info? All rode for Haro...

that is awesome!  Back in December 85 Paul and Wilkerson came to a local HS to put on a freestyle clinic.  Spike Jonze too.  Paul was so cool.  Very down to earth, gave plenty of 1 on 1 pointers.  have some good pictures from that day.

I am not Ron Wilkerson!
