Subrosa bash guard frame prototype
I'm not sure how many people caught this, but it's pretty cool.
"Sample "Bash Bike" frame. Never went into production, but there's samples. "

Re: Subrosa bash guard frame prototype
I vaguely remember that. if they offer it in a 21.5" toptube, I want it!!! sickkkk!
What's the point of having a bike if you're not going to ride it?

Re: Subrosa bash guard frame prototype
Out of all the frames Subrosa has made throughout the years, this one is the coolest, yet they chose not to put it into production.
It looks like a modern day Bully.

Re: Subrosa bash guard frame prototype
They're supposed to be doing more of the DTT frames and I'm seriously thinking about buying one this round.
They are definitely one of the few unique brands these days. Willing to make more than a straight diamond frame.

Re: Subrosa bash guard frame prototype
Damn. Bash guard is beyond now. Now they just need to combine these 2
Twin top tube
Bash guard
Party splatter paint
And we have something made in Taiwan I wouldn't mind owning.
Still wont buy it tho.
A sight for sore eyes to the blind would be awful majestic. It would be the most beautiful thing that they ever had seen. It would cause such surprise, it would make all of their minds electric. How could anyone tell them that some things are not what they seem?

Hell, why stop there? Wrap the head tube like an RL20II and give it a loop tail and you've got a frame from 3 pieces of tubing ![]()
I think I'll stick to the normal DTT, but that Bully-ish frame is pretty attractive. I just don't have a use for the bash guard.

Re: Subrosa bash guard frame prototype
Someone remind me, what does the yellow splatter look like? Was it a Haro?
I just keep thinking that frame with black forks and kneesaver type bars would look really sweet.

Re: Subrosa bash guard frame prototype
I would live one of those samples! We can only hope Vintage Bully will remake the Bashguard frame. They have been looking into it! I like the Subrosa DTT and plan to build one when the black frames come out.
Love DTT and bashguard frames!!!! ![]()
I started riding 20" bikes at 4 years old and I still ride 45 years later! But as I see it, why not!!!!
Btw I have nothing against survivors, but I like my bikes looking nice and new! So dont hate!!!! LOL!
Looking for: Ozone method frame(like everyone),

I think it should be here Monday.
They are on sale for $279.95 and if you want a chrome or half chrome + color it's $50 extra.
The web store is a little messed up, it tries to charge $399.95 + $50. I had to call to get the deal.

Re: Subrosa bash guard frame prototype
Bully is still in business? Why would they sue? It's not like they were the only company to ever offer a frame with a bashguard? That's like when Hutch was going to sue other looptail makers...
If it's got two wheels, jump it.

That surprised me too, I haven't heard of them until this.
The paint and graphics are pretty close though. It looks like a straight up modernization, but seriously, who cares? Is it patented or trademarked or something?
