1999 Cyclone 24

1999 Cyclone 24
Best I can find is this is a one of a kind!!
Found this on my local CL and had to go check it out. Once I got there, 2 hrs away, I realized it was a 24" and had to have it. Aired up the tires and have been riding it just about everyday. Posted it in the Name it section and noone could positively identify it. Had one guy say it looks simalar to a Fabweld and I should contact BMXerPete. Pete informed me that he was pretty sure it was a Cyclone made by a guy in Dade City that made custom BMX frames from around 94 -mid 2000s. This guy bought DOs, BBs, and some tubing from Fabweld. He then drilled out the DOs and this was his signature mark. No two alike according to Pete. I am really digging the americana theme.
BTW I am just guessing at the year because as of yet I have no real way to know.

Re: 1999 Cyclone 24
Thanks!! Ryan I just guessed at the year. It really has a mix of parts on it from different era's. Hubs are dated 85, Ukai speedlines, early 90s cranks, sprocket is a little later, etc. Since the guy built bikes from 94 to the mid 2000s I just guessed somewhere in the middle. It is pretty darn light but I havent had a chance to weigh it yet. I do believe he raced the bike because there was alot of clay in the tires and around the bb etc, plus the guy I bought it from said he threw away about 100 bmx trophies.
I would add many more pics but when I posted it it only let me DL 4. Ill work on it.
