Bike shows
Hello all,
Can anyone tell me about a few bike shows. Maybe the best or largest for old school viewing. I'd like to take a trip with the kids and bikes this year to check out a bike show. I tried to look up Rockford, but could not find dates for a particular event. What do I look for? Any suggestions would be appreciated. East coast is preferred, but open to a mid-west road trip for sure. Dates or links would be awesome as well.

The Society Show in So. Cal is probably the biggest. Hoping to make it this year.

Well, the most prestigious I would say would be the Whittier narrows bike show which used to be called the bellflower bike show hosted my the bmx society. I went last year and never expected something so amazing. You have to make it out. It's in June or July, I forgot.
I can not sit still. I have been tested for A.D.D. and A.D.H.D. and have neither. I don't need coffee, I just need a B.M.X. or surfboard to consistently ride and I'll be happy.

I saw the forum post for the Midwest show in Feb. It's only 10 hours, but I don't know if I can get a plan together in 4 weeks. Whittier would be a dream, but that is more than a road trip from SC...lol!

TXBONE, that is exactly what I imagine heaven to be like. Thanks for the insight guys. The Spring Fling in Florida, is that the one in St. Pete/Tampa area? That and the Indiana show are definite possibilities.

Itsdug, tudo bem? Como vai voce? Onde no Sao Paulo voce morah? Haha, sorry my Portugues is rusty. Have you ever flown into Rio and noticed the BMX track beside the airport? I feel like I was imagining that, but I swear it was a track with jumps and all. Am I crazy? Boa noite, tchau!

Your Portuguese is better than mine! Only lived down here for 2 years and mostly speak English. Anyway, I've been to Rio 3 times, but have always driven. I'm sure there is a at least one track in Rio if not more as BMX is pretty big down here. Do you get down here much?

Brian p's summer slam in New Jersey in August is cool.
Never been to Florida
The bmx society show is the first Saturday in June and is a must do. By far, the coolest show around!
