Weekend Scores. Cook Bros, Profile, GT Performer
Picked this stuff over the weekend from two different guys. Profile cranks are soaking, we will see how that turns out. The Performer is an 87 and is in pretty nice condition. Now the Cook frame I am stumped on. The guy said it was very early and I cant find a serial # anywhere. Also the only ones I see without gussets are pit bikes. Any info would be appreciated.

Re: Weekend Scores. Cook Bros, Profile, GT Performer
I saw the 84's but they aren't loop tails. It looks like it could be an 82 though. I am just wondering why it doesn't have a serial #.

Re: Weekend Scores. Cook Bros, Profile, GT Performer
Sorry to be pedantic, but it is Cook Bros, not "Cooks."
Looking for black Comp IIs, blue araya 7bs, early Robinson pads (red, white or blue), brown 70s SE forks, 70s black uniseat, and an elina super pro quilted seat.
If you have a 1970s Super Cheetah frame (the one with the twin-top tubes), and you are interested in selling it, I have a pile of money waiting for you.

Ya, that's what I'm thinking.
I can not sit still. I have been tested for A.D.D. and A.D.H.D. and have neither. I don't need coffee, I just need a B.M.X. or surfboard to consistently ride and I'll be happy.

Sick Cook Bros frame. Man, I wish I had the funds.

Re: Weekend Scores. Cook Bros, Profile, GT Performer
Im pretty sure that would be a 1983 CBR. I had 2 identical, one nos/unplated, the other chrome. There are not many of those models floating around. Yours is the 3rd I've come across. My unplated nos didnt have a serial number either. (I cant remember if my chrome one did. The top tube will probably measure center to center 19-19.25. Which would be approx 1 inch longer then all previous CBR pro models. Also, on mine the top tube and bottom tube were made with 1 1/8th tubing, instead of standard CBR 1 inch tubing. Take some measurement pics.
