Motomag F/F
About 10 years ago I got an 82 model Mongoose. ( I assumed it was 82' because the bicycle shop sticker was dated that year) at the salvation army for 25$. I Didn't know what I had! I rode the hell out of that thing! I was constantly getting clowned on by my friends about how ugly the bike was.... Being Brown ( which I now know was nickel not a tarnished Chrome) and anonized blue stem, brake calipers/levers, rims/hubs, Sprocket. Even chain! Ugly or not I could easily leave those turds in the dirt....long story short I let a friend use it to get home On cold winter night(Bike wasn't so ugly then!).... And Sooo Looong! Attempt to Get back few months Ago.... But he doesn't remember borrowing it. So here is a Start to the Closest thing I could find: A Black Motomag don't know what Year. BB has C10 and a series of numbers under that. I'm Still Debating on which direction and Color Combo to go with. I have Been searching the site for ideas but if anyone has a black Goose they wanna post would be nice! I will eventually re-create my nickel plated bike... When I hit the Lotto!

Classic, it's a 1981. Heavy as a tank but cool nonetheless
I have a bunch of good old school stuff for sale in the beta section, check it out!

Anyhow Im Stoked for this build.....Will take a Looong Time to get the right parts and im Impatient as Hell. Still Browseing the Site for Ideas....So Far im Liking The Murdered Out Motomags (all Black).....like KnightsRacingTeam

Re: Motomag F/F
Nice Tommy!..Is it a Bulldog or Tuff Neck Stem?... i plan to build mine up by replacing it 1 part at a time. Sort of a Mach up. I Just Cant Wait to Jump on it and help re-live a bit of the childhood.

They were all heavy, built to last. Even the full chromo Team/Supergooses were pretty heavy.
Hit up Spaceman, I know he has a nickel '81 f/f he is thinking about selling. Super reasonable and solid seller, too.

Re: Motomag F/F
As you can see from the pics, you'll get a looker with gold or red parts on a black Moto ... I also think yellow parts look slick on the black Goose.

I can not sit still. I have been tested for A.D.D. and A.D.H.D. and have neither. I don't need coffee, I just need a B.M.X. or surfboard to consistently ride and I'll be happy.
