My score!! Can we say I got a stiffy!!!! MID SCHOOL SCORE!

Hey guys and gals, picked these up a few days ago.  I plan on using the pedals on my xxl powerlite build, I am still debating using the stiffy forks  they are 24 inch so I would need to cut them down.  I have a set of 20 inch stiffys but there not machined out like the 24inch ones are. I have been told that my 24inch forks are more rare so they would be nasty on my bike.  Or I can use a set of just as rare brand X chromo forks I have to, just not decided yet.   Here are the pics smile

If the forks are indead rare 24" forks. cuting them up to fit a 20 Powerlight. well thats just not cool or smart! they woud just be messed up forks.

no dis but there were a lot cooler say rare/low numers made  mide school frames besides powerlite's . still sounds like a bichen build up. post up pictures of what you got so far for the build.

I can justify cutting them down because they made them in 20 inch to smile  There more rare because of they were machined out on the legs but they were offered in 24 and 20 inch.  And your 100% right there are way lower numbers of other bikes made from midschool but I love my powerlites.  I have midschool UFO and I have other less made bikes, but the fact is I like powerlite more.

Here is a pic of my 97 powerlite xl that is done, this one also has some rare parts on it.  The parts I have in this post are for my 97 xxl

Cool score...   But I wouldn't cut the forks.  Find ya a BadA$$ 24" powerlite to use them on.
And there"s plenty of other cool / rare 20" forks that you could hunt down for your 20"

I agree DONT cut the Forks....... My Son rode for the Stiffys Factory team, and Darren, the Owner of the company didn't make to many of the Machined Forks....I can try and see if I can get a production #.

I agree with everyone else - don't cut the forks!  I'm not even a cruiser guy (I've honesty never even sat on a cruiser before), but I think that if you cut the forks down, you'd regret it down the road, especially if you want to sell them at some point.  I think you'll be happy with the Brand X forks too cool .

Re: My score!! Can we say I got a stiffy!!!! MID SCHOOL SCORE!

I'll trade you a 20" for those cruiser forks if you still have them.  I don't have a Stiffy's 20, but I got two different Answer forks, I have a nice butted GT chromoly fork that would look perfect on a Powerlite.
