Does anyone race or ride an old school bike at the track...post up!
I would love to see who rides old school at the track, racing or just for fun. I only ride new school even though im 41, but I still have great memories of the 80's bikes. There are tons of " too pretty to ride " on the site, but there has to be many people who rock those oldies at the track or even flatland like my boy Diablo. If so, lets see some pics guys!

My boy raced a 1984 ELF micro mini this year. Here is a picture winning the state finial race. Every race we went to people love the bike.

I ride my OS bikes in races just to have fun but I'm thinking of getting a little more serious about racing in the upcoming year.

We had several old school races this summer at few different tracks here in Illinois. I ride an 82 Hutch Pro Racer with CW bars for them. I ride a Standard for the real races!

Technically, my GTs are mid-school, but they're still older than some of the competition I've faced.
http://bmxbackyard.com/images/races/loc … C_1990.jpg (I have, however, upgraded the old school number plate in this picture).
They're a little on the heavy side, but they handle great.
Chill, Hank. I'm blessed.

Thinking about redoing this to take to the track but I'm torn between just riding it as is or stripping it down and painting.

I can not sit still. I have been tested for A.D.D. and A.D.H.D. and have neither. I don't need coffee, I just need a B.M.X. or surfboard to consistently ride and I'll be happy.
