Hutch Seat Post??

Just wondering if anyone can tell me if this is a Hutch seat post? It came on a 82/83 pro racer I picked up.

Thanks

Re: Hutch Seat Post??

It's so hard to tell. Doesn't look like a hutch to me though.

Re: Hutch Seat Post??

Did hutch make different style of lay backs in different  years.
Looks pinched where it angles.

Re: Hutch Seat Post??

GT usually had a small round stamp, some also had the letters "cr-mo" stamped underneath the "GT" stamp.

I'm not to sure what Hutch did But, from the way the seat post is bent, it doesn't look like either to me. I could be completely incorrect.

Here's a Hutch seat post: notice the bend.

I (believe) the very first round of GT lay back seat posts only had a decal. -I could be wrong.
