Whats the difference between oval predator frame and sting competion?
Just from looking at pics, there doesnt seem to be much diiference. Does anyone know?

I am sure someone more knowledgable then me will chime in but to get you started... I believe the head tube on the competition is taller then the predator.
What year Predator are you looking at? Can you post a picture?

Drop outs are different for sure. The Sting Comps are brazed as well. In fact I see a lot of differences.

I'm a tad confused ....
The Schwinn Predator Black Shadow model is a copy of the original Sting frame.
The Sting Competition frame does not hav the oval tubing and is far stronger a race frame than th higher end Sting.
Many other Schwinns utilize the oval tubing .... even certain freestyle models do.
Can you be more specific regarding exact years and modles ?

The Sting competition has an oval down tube and top tube and "The Sting" has an oval down tube, top tube, and seat tube. Just to clarify.

i thought i heard somethin about balance. take the fork off, place frame on level ground on bb and rear drops. one of them would balance like that, and another one is slightly heavier in the front and it would fall down to the head tube. if that makes anysense. dont even no if thats true. but i thought it was somethin i had heard, in order to tell a difference between the two
