WHO IS thesteam1 ON EBAY?
I JUST RECEIVED MY FIRST NEGATIVE FEEDBACK AFTER YEARS OF DEALING ON EBAY! IM SO PISSED!
EVERYONE THAT KNOWS ME, KNOWS THAT I WOULDVE GIVEN HIS MONEY BACK AND HE COULDVE KEPT THE PARTS.
I PUT A USED BMX PARTS LOT ON EBAY. USED SEATS PEDALS AND A FEW CHAINS AND ROTORS. AND HE LEFT A FEEDBACK
SAYING HE GOT "NOT AS DESCRIBED ALL WAS JUNK" WTF?
I NEVER SAID NOS OR ANYTHING?
THE PICTURE WAS CLEAR!

MY LISTING SAID:

UP FOR SALE IS AN OLD SCHOOL BMX PARTS LOT. GET IT OUT OF MY HOUSE!
I DONT FEEL LIKE SPLITTING IT UP AND PUTTING IT ON THE MUSEUM.
THERE ARE A MULTITUDE OF PARTS HERE. ALL ARE USED BUT IN GOOD CONDITION.
WILL NOT SPLIT UP JUST BID IM TIRED OF LOOKING AT IT

Nothing you can do. eBay neutered the system for sellers.

You can dispute the feedback. If ebay rules in your favor they will remove it or change to a neutral.

Why would someone do this to me? I wouldve given a refund and he couldve kept them! I just wanted all these parts gone. They shoulda contacted me. I just emailed them. Can they retract a feedback if i give em their money back? What if i call ebay?

Does anyone see a problem w my listing? I mean am i in the wrong? I just put a parts lot up for sale and that was it but if anyone thinks i ripped someone off let me know.

some people are just dic*s I sold a pink lot set on the bay bay one time, all parts were NOS he didnt like them and sent them back, Im glad I got them back

Underpromise. Overdeliver.

When I'm selling "leftovers". I put in the listing stuff like "use for parts only", or, restoreable. Nothing that indicates "usable". Because usable to me, vs. someone else are different. I see ads that note "bearings need a repack", or mechanics special.

I'm not saying you did anything wrong, just giving some input. As you noted, you'd do even a refund, so, obviously it's clearance. Describing clearance parts as usable probably got you in hot water. Usable to some folks means near mint.....

Good luck getting it cleared up. Sad the guy didn't contact you.

Probably buyers remorse or maybe he is working a scam and won't send the parts back. Here this has been going on. Buyer claims the stuff is no good...gets his money back and doesn't ship the parts. Just getting free parts. Another reseason I never messed with feebay.

Contacted ebay. What a joke. They wont help. They said i have to contact the guy. They cant do anything. I said, "its my job to deal with the case? You guys cant contact him, or remove the feedback?" She said nope. So what does her job consist of? I said "if i have good feedback, and more ppl buy from me, then ebay makes more money and u get paid. Me selling more items helps ebay make more money. She kept repeating how there is nothing she can do.

I just received one too phucking member was a cock head. Just take it a move on it don't really matter it never hurt me in any way. Just sux when you have a perfect track record and some D-Bag comes along and leaves a negative.

That would qualify as feedback extortion, which ebay takes pretty seriously. make sure to report it

I had a dead beat bidder bid. I emailed him twice nicely asking if he wanted or we could do a mutual cancelation no mark on him. Never heard from him or opened a case as it was a small item. Check my feedback a month later he leaves me a neutral feedback saying "Sorry". I was like WTF you don't pay and then leave a mark on me??? After I was nice and let it go... I opened a case and then reported buyer for inappropriate feedback. They removed it in less than 5 mins. That's a new one for eBay. Give "report buyer" a shot what you have to loose.
