Reviews of the new S.E. products

Saw a new O.M. Flyer for sale on here and was wondering if people were happy with the new bikes.  This may be a re-hash topic, but I did a half-hearted search and nothing came up. I would like to buy one if they are a good product, let me know.

I've been very happy with my Quad 24.  What are you going to use it/them for?

Re: Reviews of the new S.E. products

I had a 2009 Floval Flyer. I loved it, but my bike whoring self couldn't hang on it and now I'm sad I let it go. Integrated tensioners for the win! That bike was so fast...

I have a 2007 retro quad and a retro PK Ripper and they are get bikes.  This is the second retro quad that I have had. I sold the first one and regretted it so bought another frame and am waiting to build it up. I had a floval flyer and while it seemed like a quality product I could not get use to the feel of it. I've had 2 OM Flyers - rode the heck out of the first one and then sold it when I saw the 2011 OM Flyer were going to be made out of 4130 just like BITD.  I don’t have very much ride time on the 2011 OM Flyer but it is beautiful to look at. big_smile

Re: Reviews of the new S.E. products

That was probably my OM that you saw that bird just bought from me. I've had many new SE products from Flovals to So Cal Flyers and they've all been great. I have a 2011 Big Ripper that probably has between 1200-1500 miles on it and I've done nothing but swap out the freewheel. The bike was great. I just found something else I wanted to buy and needed to make room in the garage. I would tell anyone out there to buy an SE complete.

Yep, that was the one I saw. The black and chrome looks great, I think that is the nicest one I have seen.

I like your ripper, too. Love your ripper. Sadly, the gold is the only color that works with the new graphics for me. I really hate the new graphics otherwise.

Re: Reviews of the new S.E. products

Think SE retros are really good fun, love my big ripper as in UK I would be pointed at and laughed at if I still tried to ride a 20" bike. Daughter has a retro ripper. Good bikes, good quality other than the freewheel. Luv em.

I have a new P.K Ripper retro and love it, rides good, it's fast, handles good, looks good, can't ask for much more than that.

Re: Reviews of the new S.E. products

The last couple of week Ive been riding the wifes 2012 SoCal.
I usually ride a Floval around town but lately Ive felt like a change.

I really like the SoCal for a cheap daily rider.
Complete for around $300 online.
Wouldnt take much to personalize it either.
Ill be buying a 2013 in Black/Silver.
Im 5'10", 190lbs and this is a comfy ride.
Feels like a 20 did when I had my 1984 body.

Its a brand new 24 from SE thats worth every cent of the $300ish if youre looking for a daily, neighborhood rider.
