Re: GT Name it

The green-yellow one is a 91 interceptor or mach one. Should be a serial on the bb or rear drop but they can be hard to see. Also might be a "I" or "M" on the rear drop to identify it. The blue one looks like 95-97 performer or vertigo...best I can do.

Hobbes - you're whacked.  First the Profile crank thing now this!

That red one is more like an '85 Pro/Mach One.

Re: GT Name it

EDIT:  HAHA, ok so I was wrong.  The ONLY GT in 88 that had a frame like this was the Mach One. If the serial says '88 then it's definitely a Mach One.

yup same exact frame, just wasn't in the catalog (unless I missed it)

I just didn't know they were still using that frameset for anything past '87.  Learn new stuff every day o the museum smile

Maybe there was a mid-year change too?  I see other 88 mach one/interceptors with the different style dropouts. Or maybe they are just stickered wrong?

Re: GT Name it

top one is a 91 mach one, most likely. (neon green was only 91, but might of been 90 too)

blue freestyle frame is a 95 or 96 pro freestyle tour, ovalized top seatstay bridge, straight cut, should be "double thick" dropouts, square chainstay bridge for the brake mounts

Re: GT Name it

That top one is for sure a 91 mach one. The serial, color and decals are all correct for a 91 model. My friend had that same bike back in the day too. Cool color! Haven't seen one for a while. Love the very early 90's GT's!
