Flights - Originals or Flight 2's?
First hand use opinions?
I've found both at good prices. The 2's are a little more. Is it worth it?

Re: Flights - Originals or Flight 2's?
Profile for a new bike. I have OG flights on my Ripper and some double pinch on a 90 Quad, but wouldn't buy the new ones for anything. I can't give a good reason other than I like the Profiles. I have them on both my cruisers and the mini mags on my Sons bike. I will have a set on my new 20" race bike for 2013 also.

I didn't ask about opinions between Redline and Profile.
I asked about experience between the two Flights.
Profiles are nice, but I can't justify an extra $50

You could get a used set of Profiles for the same price as new Redlines... Stronger and more options on length.
Either way I have experience with both of what you asked about. Other than the weight savings there really is not a difference. They both still have the dated axle splines.

Someone who has experience!
Thanks!
I know Profiles are lighter.
I had Flights w/ Techmatic back in the day, and I like that Flights don't need a crank puller.
It's a shame they went overseas.
I have a feeling Profiles use the same spline pattern modular sway bars on race cars use.

Had fights for years went with profile, stiffer better snap out of the gate. Redlines are not bad cranks imo but I prefer profile now. For me the less bolts to tighten the better
