Frame Forks Powdered by Chip, Color is smack on, all parts Nos, even the pink Shinko's and black Pro neck stem!! Just waiting for the Pad-set to arrive and she will be done!!Hope you Guys Like it!!

Looks great but aren't the fork,bars & post on Ed's the toothpaste/greenish-blue that GT had for a short while?

Spoke to Eddie about this, there was an earlier 85' version of this bike with a couple of parts that were different, attached pic!! 100% blue, had nos Frame standers in the blue, and the blue is the same blue as in the pad set attached pic(Original Pad)nos set on way, same as in the poster pic, I phoned eddie about this bike and he told me all the parts and colors, even down to the Slotted chain!! there is one very small mistake, and thats the Dia compe Brake pads, they need to be white instead of tan, just got a NOS set of those...on way

here is an earlier version of the bike with the greenish blue Eddie used!!

Check out the bar pad, the lowerblue on the pads should match the blue color of the bike, look back at poster pic it's the same, it's just the lighting in the poster pic.

Nice collection you got there.

When is the DAYGLO PINK in the background getting assembled? I see you have the magazine for reference, too. My personal favorite along with the Winterland GT.

behind it you've got possibly my favorite Eddie bike ever. Dayglow pink '86 with chrome forks and black bits. And that awesome seat post cover

Thanks guys, been really hard getting the Parts for this build, had to sacrifice some really cool parts in trade to get this built.

regarding the Pink 86' Eddie had two, the other was with Black Forks, and black 901's the one I am doing is the exact replica of the 86' freestylin Magazine, where he uses Chrome Forks and Cantilever Brakes, I managed to get NOS Brakes but the Brake Brace is from an 80's Mountain bike, I have hunted high and low for them, so it looks like I will have to get them fabricated as I have some good references to get them copied, the Tubing was another problem, I managed to get the correct tubing but only in black, eddie used a Purple/grey colored tube, so I will have to get that painted/plastersized while its still on the seat post, just hoping the paint will stay on and not peel off? I'll post my other builds progress in the next day or two, so keep an eye out!!

Impressive work! You need to tidy up in that man cave though! You probably have spares in there you have forgotten about!

I did notice one slight difference (or maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me). Looking at the poster and the pic is Eddie's chainring behind the connection disk? I know it's a small detail but considering how much effort went into this bike I think it would warrant a look.

thought you guys ment the grey part/Plastic behind the powerdisc!! and to be honest when the bikes done I will put the chainring on the back of the powerdisc for pictures, but will put it back to how it is now beacuse it just looks so wrong!! oh and before you notice, eddie used two of the same levers, so i have to Change the rear brake lever to a front lever so its upside down!! and the frame decal is 1 mm to low seriously the bike isnt finished as you can see, just thought I would post some pics on the progresion!!

It was just one of those things that when you see it, you can't unsee it or stop seeing it. I wasn't bashing the bike or anything. I just pointed out something I noticed.
And you're wrong about the frame decal. It looks to be 1.5mm to high.

i know you wasnt bashing my friend, It will be put back for the studio pictures, and then back again when in my collection, and as for the 1.5

It's you mate the fork decals are 84/85 and the frame is an 86 decal, why eddie done this who knows??

Left of forks GT at Bottom, Right side GT at Top!!
