1991 GT Performer?

Serial number-GH9122040

Sorry for the bad cell phone pics, but I got the bug at 11 last night to dig it out and started studying it, I had thought about selling it, but I got a soft spot for GT's. It has Power Series cranks on it, I think the wheels are Arayas. It has a single cable guide under the top tube and one on the fork. Forks are stamped GT, unsure if they are the originals.

91 indeed. What are your plans for it?

Re: 1991 GT Performer?

Thanks, always can count on some good help here.  I'm not sure on my plans yet. I told myself a couple months ago I was going to trim the collection down to 10 bikes. I started with 39, I'm down to 22, I have 6 I'm going to keep for sure. Thinking this is a worth candidate for one of the last four spots. If I do keep it I'm going to make it a beater rider for a while and collect the parts to make it a very nice bike.

Another question, would the crank be original to this year Performer?

I don't believe so they just came with some regular cranks. Nothing special
