Re: cook brothers hubs
i hear those are the bad ones. prone to fail . so u should just send em my way so i can out em on a bike to just look at. - anyways .... do the flanges look like they used to be blue? i know the earlier ones had the silk screen logo (like yours) or etched or something and the thru axle. the later ones had a machined logo and bolts that entered the center kinda like the bullseye timeline also.if you look at the cook bros ads pdf's on here you could prob figure it out .

Re: cook brothers hubs
Thanks for the info. I have a buddy that wants them for $ 200.00. Dang buddy deal you know. i figured they are worth maybe $ 300.00. But wanted to make sure they weren't like $ 400.00 plus dollar hubs. They could look like new with a little polishing. They have no blue on the flange just a little grease. Thanks, Paul

Re: cook brothers hubs
If he's a friend it doesn't matter, if your looking to get top dollar. put them on EBAY. We can't really tell you what there worth. Depends on the buyer and what they are willing to pay. 200 is a definate Bro deal though.

Re: cook brothers hubs
Yeah I kinda figured it was a deal. But he's got a 1983 black shadow frame with Darrell young Forks. So hopefully I get the Buddy deal on return.

Re: cook brothers hubs
If those hubs are in even half decent shape structurally and internal they are an easy 4-500. The flange color and lettering looks really good
