2013 Increased Shipping Cost
Just a little heads up of the upcoming changes in shipping cost. http://www.examiner.com/article/stamp-p … nuary-2013
Priority Mail Flat Rate service prices increase along with stamp costs. The new postal rates are:
Small box — $5.80
Medium box — $12.35
Large box — $16.85
Large APO/FPO box — $14.85
Regular envelope — $5.60
Legal envelope — $5.75
Padded envelope — $5.95

FedEx Corp. (FDX) said that it will increase shipping rates for FedEx Ground and FedEx Home Delivery by a net average of 4.9% effective January 7, 2013.
The company said that the FedEx Ground and FedEx Home Delivery full average rate increase of 5.9% will be partially offset by adjusting the fuel price threshold at which the fuel surcharge begins, reducing the fuel surcharge by one percentage point. FedEx SmartPost rates also will change.
FedEx announced on September18, 2012 that it will increase shipping rates for FedEx Express by a net average of 3.9% for U.S. domestic, U.S. export and U.S. import services also effective January 7, 2013. FedEx Freight implemented a 6.9% general rate increase on July 9, 2012.
