Only thing I had to change on mine was the freewheel, it sucked, and the seat for longer rides. I also adjusted the cranks to get rid of some creaking, though it could of been the freewheel which I replaced at the same time. All in all great bike I ride it almost daily since new and haven't really done anything else to it. If I come across another one for a good price I would get it.

Cool...I am looking at a 2013 Big Ripper. Not sure about the quadangles though although they should be great!

IM THE PROUD OWNER OF 2010 BIG RIPPER!! im 6'4 and was 280 when i bought it, it is the best bike i have ever ridden!! i take long crusies and jump it like a twenty!! if you are a big guy it is worth the cash,,, i change the freewheel when i first got it, but broke to so i had the factory rims laced to profiles

Me & a friend got 2012 Big Rippers and absolutely love them, I'm 6'4" and he's about 5'7" but they fit fine. I have about 60 miles total since I got the bike, and the only problem was a loose crankset, easy fix!

I love the Quads too! Very cool rides

Got the 2011 and love it. I haven't rode a 20 since I was 18 and at 41 the big ripper was a great bike as it has a little of back in the day mixed into big boys biking. You won't regret, but if you do pass it on.

Yeah I am getting out of collecting and builds and gonna get me a cruiser to ride plus I have my 22 Holmes....

I ALSO HAVE THE 22, and i ride the hell out of both!!! you cant go wrong with the big ripper!!

I have the '12 and the only issues are way minor. Bars are not really 'cruiser bars'. Too tall. so I changed to profile I had on the shelf. Have heard about the freewheel being low quality but mine has not been an issue yet. I changed to profile cranks cause for me 185s work and 175s don't.

Others I ride with said same. Bars and freewheel.

Fits great and rides great. Have been on multiple 20 mile rides. Also has lots of room if you like fat tires.

2011 big ripper....Just a cruiser.....Nice ride..Havent broke my freewheel yet..i just cruise it....its getting a little louder since new.....

An other thing. I ride 26s all the rest of time. I thought it would take a little time to adjust. But it was totally natural and after about a mile i was comfortable jumping and bunnyhoping.

I just got my 2013 big ripper , swapped out the cranks for flights and threw on new bars , I am 6f 4i and about 200lbs and it fits like a glove. I wish I would have bought one sooner its like having a time machine . I ride with a big stupid a-- grin on my face everywhere i go.

My Big Ripper is amazing, as stated before: Time Machine, like being 5 again.
The 29 Quad, when i rode one was notably heavier.

Well. Thought I had ordered a 2011 Big ripper but actually was sold out. But, I just ordered a 26" We the People Champ!! I am stoked!

I have sold out and this will be my daily rider!

i think the parts level and value trump the rest.
a cantilever isnt for everyone; but i love them. i used eclat clear pads in the post mount canti's and they work amazing. took a bit of dialing to get bark out. has to get some of the pad transfered onto rim braking surface to fully quiet. so worth it! the rims will keep there finish. i want 2 of the new front rims- they are aero! but cant have them unless i buy 2 of the 9 left the 20" aero shaped front rims are sooo frikkn tough. kudos- let me know what you think. they looked hot at INTERBIKE.
