Maybe now that theres some more available folks with deep bmx pockets might buy a second to make their Haro grail rider.
I hope so, even if they dont ride it.
Still cool to see.

Re: Has anyone actually built and anniversary haro freestyler
I cannot imagine why anyone would not build it. Maybe I am insane, but I cannot see a replica being worth thousands of dollars down the line. I am not trying to be rude, but these frames are replicas. No matter how limited the run, they are not actual originals. Why not build it?

Buying or trading for ANYTHING related to New York regiments of the civil war. Particularly the 6th NY Heavy Artillery. Everything I own is on the table for this stuff. Pictures highly sought!

I thought or at least got the idea that the frame kits were "collectors items" ? I could be wrong for sure but it's the vibe I got from them. Something you buy to keep and have.
I am tall so not many old style frames are much use to me and I'd go nuts having something nice looking and not knowing how it felt to ride. Saves me a lot of money as I'm sure if more frames fit me better I'd be half tempted to buy a lot more.
would like to see some photos of these built up. There would have to be a single look to go for with them though, the full replica look. ![]()

I would have to almost agree with the kid here.. It is a replica, and honestly I don't think it's worth the money now. I think it's cool they made it and all but, personally, I'd rather have an og 82 and for the money it's not unfeasable. However, in another thirty years this replica probably will of comparable worth as an 82 is now.
I've pondered this myself, not necessarily with the haro though. But which new school bikes would be worth gathering now for collector purposes in the future?
