if I remember correctly I thought the shaker was from 86? and had better parts. the flyer came out in 87 and had some cheaper parts. my buddy had one.

Neither were "great" bikes but the shaker was pretty darn low end.
ride your bike until it breaks.

well after looking in the museum both bikes are identical, both came out in 87. Although I did notice that the Shaker has a 4130 decal on one example and the Flyer doesn't that I can see. Maybe the only difference is frame material used for the frame and fork? I think the Shaker is definately a better name though.
