this is sort of a surivor. bought or got it for x-mas,sold it for gas money, got it back in 1988. (gave up some gas money.) WHAT LUCK!! HUH?
I cried my ass off at 12. Wanted a Quad ,finally got one. Mainly orig. execpt for the cranks. Had to buy new ones as the pedels were stuck in the orig. cranks. I will update when I'm finished. Thanks for looking.
I hope that someday we will be able to put away our fears and prejudices and just laugh at people.

Always cool to hear when people get their childhood bike back(especially when it's something the caliber of your Quad.)About a year ago I got my childhood Haro Master back after many years.

Nice quad.
Its my understanding that the chro-mo quads were dated late 82. Im assuming your quad is dated 82 and not 83?
What makes you believe you have a chrom-mo?
This is my 82 Quad

Re: 1983 SE Racing Quadangle
Hey guys, thanks for the nice comments. I really do love it. AGUILAR3 in referance to your question. I got the info on the cro-mo from you awhile back, and I'm going by the fact that the down tubes and the chainstay tubes are exactly the same size. So that means cro-mo, at least that is how I understood it. If thats incorrect please let me know as any help info would be greatly appriceated. Thanks again guys. Bob

If thats the case, then you are correct. Chain stays should be matching tube size.
My Quad is 90% done(parts). Just need to convert the Campy hubs to BMX and lace up the Blue 7X's. It too will be black and blue

Re: 1983 SE Racing Quadangle
AGUILAR3 Great to hear that you are almost done. Mine is close also, just a few parts away, but at the prices of the parts that I have left could take some time, as they are pretty expensive. Anyway thanks for the info and good luck. Bob
