So I am making a frame. I need your guys help! 100% home made!

SO IN welding we have until December to turn in our final project. At first I wanted to do a Brush guard and a roof rack for my off road subaru 4wd gl station wagon but I can do that next semester. Here are some things that it will have:
Chain stay break mounts

A bigger back end(Like the S&M dirtbike but a little shorter

A T-bone

Mid or american sealed bb

It will have a standard headset because making an integrated headset will be a pain in the ass!

So please give your input on this. I don't really plan on riding this but maybe once and awhile.

do you have to fabricate your own tubes too or can you buy prefab'd?

What's the point of having a bike if you're not going to ride it?

That would be an awesome project! Always wanted to build my own frame. What kind of equipment do you have access to? TIG/MIG or gas? cool

Sounds cool.

If the geometry of the various tubes and their cutting isnt something you are sure about, or have the machinery for, i remember seeing somewhere online where you can type in the angles and tube diameters and a sine wave type graphic is produced that you print off and lay on the tube giving you the perfect cutting profile. cool

not sure where i saw it though hmm

I will have to fab them myself. I am aware that it is not going to be easy. I will be using wire feed because I, well like it more, cleaned, and it's easier! I have all the equipment I could ever want including a torch mate computer operated plasma cutter for the dropouts. I love our schools metal shop!

Sounds like you're off to a good start.  So what kind of ideas are you looking for?  Geometry, Design cues?  Armament?  Litter box?

TIG wont make for a frame that will last long.

I do not plan on riding it maybe a little bit but not anything serious. It will be a bike to hang on my wall.

And for geo I plan on a 45 degree head tube angle, 21" top tube, and a 13.5" slammed chain stay.
