Hi all,

I'm currently working on a '90-'91 era Hoffman PK Ripper build, and I need the museum's help.

I'm on the look-out for the stickers Mat plastered all over the bike. Needed, and identification needed are:

-black/blue/purple Swatch Pro Team sticker (sprocket location)
-pink/green/black 2Hip sticker (top tube location)
-unidentified orange/black sticker (seat tube location)
-unidentified b/w sticker (top tube -- Fugazi?)
-unidentified script sticker (handlebar crossbar location)
-other period-correct 2Hip or round Airwalk Stickers (often seen stuck in Mat's spokes at that time)

I know, most of these are terribly hard to find now, but for any of you sticker collectors out there who might have these in your collection, would you take the time to scan and post them so I can re-create them on vinyl?

Also, an aesthetic question: I have to re-paint the frame (mine is yellow) so what I'm wondering is, keep everything as if it's factory-fresh, or weather it as Mat's was BITD?

Factory fresh....his wasnt always weathered, it was new once.

He only rode that bike for a short time in between Haro contracts. It didn't get enough of a beating to get too franked up.

I know, right? Wanted to do a Hoffman build for a long time now... Only parts I'm having trouble with are the white Multisurface tires... and since (like all of my builds) this one will at some point be a rider, I'm thinking of using white Odyssey Frequency G's... or maybe 1 white, 1 black (as I know I've seen a picture of this bike with mismatched tires -- certainly, Mat likely grabbed whatever he had lying around at the time.)

Oh, and that seat tube decal looks to be another Swatch decal. Good luck finding those, or even getting good enough pics to have them done.

Excellent news: tracked down the 'Swatch Pro Team' stickers (orange seat tube and sprocket) thanks to user 'getmoney.'

Nice score -- I thought those would be near impossible to find, or a scan from another user at best -- but the 'bay delivered!

Awesome build idea.

That top tube sticker is actually TREND BIKE SOURCE Sticker.
(might be the most obscure sticker on there too. )

Here, I took a pic of an old school binder of mine from the late 80s.
This should serve as some good photo resource.

Good luck with this great build. Can't wait to see it done.

Actually I think that might be another one of these TREND stickers underneath the front frame gusset, partially covered by the big Swatch sticker.

Oh, If you end up making any of these from this art. Please, Let me know - I'll buy one or a few from you.
This one is permanently stuck on the binder - It will definitely shred if I try to remove it.

the guy who ran that auction,lives in webster mass.

im the one who built the dirt jumps and skatepark there in that town,i ran a used bike shop there as well.
so you should try contacting this guy cause if its Mike,then hell have a bunch of nos stuff and maybe more stickers.
if not,hes connected and can possibly point you in the right direction.
