Pork.... underrated?
Old school rider, worn out knees and now wants to ride a litle in parks. I can not get used to a complete new school look and want a "undercover" bike. After building this i was wondering why not a lot more people are using Porks.
Hope you enjoy, not the best pictures

Re: Pork.... underrated?
My opinion of park riding so far is light bikes are more fun. I had a bike about the weight of that one pictured. Rode at the park a few times and didn't like it. I then built a newer eastern that was literally 10lbs lighter. WAY more fun! ![]()

Re: Pork.... underrated?
Is it aluminum? If not I don't see how that is possible with the components on there. I am curious about this now, I don't know much about these.
If it is aluminum, I would not trust a aluminum frame for jumping purposes.

Re: Pork.... underrated?
I find it very hard to believe that bike weighs 22 pounds, unless the tubes have been filled with helium. Those cranks are like 7 pound. Maybe 22kg, which would be about 48 pounds or so. You sure the scale read in lbs, and not kgs?

No there's not. He could have easily shaved weight...This bike is the 25th anniversary bike they made, not the original aluminum or chromoly version...Notice the integrated head tube? The bike is 1 of 150 made. stock it's 27 and a half pounds without pegs.

The seat, seat post, front rear brakes, pedals, cranks, frame, stem and probably the bars. My bike is lighter than that one in the parts I mentioned. Mine is 21.38 pounds brakeless I gotta throw the bs flag or like said pics/vid..... I might buy 25 but not 22

I see a lot of people here are experts, i can not take the bike apart just to weight all the parts, but i did weight the frame. Pedals are magnesium with ti spindle, cranks have ti spindle and ti bolts, brakes have ti bolts. I need to find a scale to hang my bike because now i will stand on my scale alone and then i will stand with my bike in my hands, the difference is the weight of the bike

I got some good info here and am now a fan of the bike. I still don't trust aluminum for hard riding though, maybe because I am not very good! The bike is sick now that I got informed on the parts. Very Cool! ![]()

I dont consider myself an expert my pedals are 11.2oz sealed pc, seat/post combo 6oz, cranks a little over 28oz hollowed axle, no brakes and my frames a few ounces heavier. I didnt weigh each part I went by company specs Im a weight weenie. I was just relating what I see on your bike compared to mine. I just find it hard to believe
