Re: Christmas 1981 all over again..

It is just like I took it out of the factory box all over again 31 years later.
I purchased it from a Bloud ( a museum member).

Re: Christmas 1981 all over again..

Well, after I got it together I decided to try it out...Rode it up and down my property, and no way in hell could I ever get used to the handlebar design again at my age. Then it dawned on me,...I rode on NOS tires lol but they cleaned up nicely with a qwick wipedown.
Anyhow, Huffy or not, I'm proud to have it again in the stables, and my son will appreciate it for its history and condition. Happy Thanksgiving Museum Members!

Re: Christmas 1981 all over again..

very cool jeff....you know I had the same one also. I rode the F%K out of it and remember riding it in the winter also. You know my street was like the LAST to get plowed, Id let all the snow get packed down like ice and lock up the coaster and do donuts till I fell lol. Those bars ends ended up folding all the way down before cracking off....Then it was the 500a big_smile
