Just dug my 1985 schwinn predator out of parents garage!

Hey, this is my first post, I just dug my 1985 schwinn predator out of the parents garage and fell in love all over again!  I have two boys now ages 7 and 8 and I want to fix it up for them.  I think I will need to replace the wheel bearings, crank, grips, tires, and maybe the stem... It cracks and pops when I turn the handle bars and barey rolls or turns, but the good news is it has been out of the weather for the last 20 years and could be returned to its former glory soon.  My question, where can I find a spec sheet for replacement parts? I don't care about original condition. And what websites are best for finding these parts?  eBay?  I think I can do this, although I have never gone this deep on a bike before. Will some of the issues with ride-ability  possibly be fixed with cleaning and replacing the bearings, crank, and stem with grease?  Thanks guys.

Probably just needs to be greased and cleaned up.

You can find just about any part you can think of right here on this site.

What is the best way to clean up the frame? Simple green? Or is there a technique common to restoration?

The best thread for instructions on BMX Museum for cleaning chrome can be found here: http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=351132
This technique works really well and you'll be pleased with the results. Good luck.
