One of my first rebuilds.
1978 Team Jag.
This was a friends of mine.
Has had a full resto,love it more now.

Glynn, two things would make this bike go from outstanding to "out of this world"
1. Ditch the yellow pads and go without. (I know they are rare and valuable, but they look weird)
2. Ditch the snake copies and shell out the dough for real ones, or a comparable old school tire. Not sure what tires were avail in 78, but you can't go wrong with some fat/skinny knobbies
Don't take this the wrong way, your bike is fantastic.
