Built an 82 Patty Pro Long
i have not been to active with the bmx thing lately but i just recently started to get the bug again. i got this in a trade for my pre serial white hutch pro racer from my friend skywayne. always wanted one of the earlier pattys. i always had 83 and 84 pattys but i always loved the low profile look of these and the long wheelbase and tall seat tube. i know it has the 83 style decals but i had an extra set and just wanted to use them and i think they are the best looking and even back in the day a kid would change to the latest and greatest decals anytime they could so, at least i know i did. its a rider and not a show bike so it is what it is and i think it's pretty sweet. one more old school bmx bike built up and brought back to life and ridden, like a bike should be.

Rocking job dude...I had one back then and distinctly remember scraping the old font decals to put those on when PRs came out.

I have to agree with ya on the earlier Patty's being better looking and this is a beautiful example. Well done!

That's funny
I wanted to stay away from yellow and orange for sure. Figured I would try red as an accent and I kind of like it. But I'm a sucker for gold on a patty.
