Re: Old Terrible 1 Barcode With some Sweet parts....

looks like a pretty solid rider...

how comfortable is that seat? i like the design.

Looking for: Standard F\F sets (125,250,TrailBoss, or STA). PM me with info.

Also trying to track down a 2001 Dyno VFR (the box\oval tubing one with the "01" decals) preferably complete but F\F works as well! smile

The seat is very comfortable. The Bike is extremely solid. The bike is so solid it is pretty much ready for war. The bike also rides as smooth as butter. A Very nice well built bike for sure...

No the gold paint is a bit chipped up and has got 2 go. Everything else will most likely remain on the bike.

Re: Old Terrible 1 Barcode With some Sweet parts....

Both the top and downtubes appear to be the same size diameter... 1.5"?  If that's the case, the frame is closer to mid '04-05ish range.

Seat clamps a mid-school DK.

Have a look here (you have to click on the pdf) to see which version Barcode you've got smile

You sure they're Standard forks?

Nice Bar Code! Check out the link that Dannywhac posted, it will help you figure out the year.

Also, definately not Standard forks.

Also, definately not Standard forks.

I picked the bike up from the original owner, and he said that he pulled the forks off of his old Standard (that he no longer had) to build this bike. That's all I Really know about the forks. I Do know that they are very well built and very Heavy duty forks what ever they are. There is also a front brake cable guide on the back side of the forks. Also from the Great info that I gathered here in the museum. I Believe my frame is around a 2002 model. I Looked in the museum at the DK Seat post clamps info and did not see any like mine... http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=423840

Deffo a mid-school DK clamp - bought a couple when they re-did them in 1997+. They came in black or plain anno, no stickers or engraving. There's a black one on my General here:

Thanks!! Now the question is what are the forks on my bike. There are no markings on them that I can see. I have also looked at a few different forks in the museum and did not see any forks that looked like mine..

The forks look like the bog standard Haro forks you could get from around 2003/4.

I Looked at some of the Haro's in the museum. The forks do look like they could be Haro forks.. So I may change the forks, and for sure the paint color, and leave everything else on the bike... Thanks for the help... cool
