Before long I should be an expert on experts
Big ups to member tkBMX76 for putting this one out there for me to find ![]()

The bars are the same as the ones that go on my blue 86 expert
Just a bit greasy!
Too bad this seats broke, it would look sweet on my 85 ![]()

Got a tuff II with a coaster

Some kind of fake tuff or some thing up front?? Insights?

Stamped chainwheel cleaned up pretty nice..

Stamped bottom bracket as well
Gotta let the stem and seat post soak a while before I try to tweak em out.. Cleaned up alright though for the ol once over. Sr stem needs the proper top side but will look good on my gray 86, there's a mongoose stamped headset under there also.. All in all I'm pleased with it ![]()

Hells yeah son, maybe I can get a couple more before turkey day! Thinking about that turbaconepic thanksgiving, I can get a pig but I don't know if I can find all the dam birds.

Glad your happy. Too bad about the wheels, if they were matching that would have been a very good score. It is cool that most of the parts still have the mongoose stamping on them.

I'm just dumbfounded as to why some genius would drill a hole behind the bb? I imagine there was a kickstand on this beast at one point, is the only thing I can think of. ![]()

That front looks like a Tuff Wheel 1 to me ![]()

I haven't taken the tire off yet but there's no markings on it otherwise. So unless there's something under the tire? I don't know anything about tuff 1s anyways, or IIs for that matter. I have a couple sets of IIs and they all are stamped very clearly.

Re: Before long I should be an expert on experts
Looking through the references, the front mag may be a first gen tuff I? But if its not stamped then how would I really know?

Re: Before long I should be an expert on experts
I had the sme issue I had a set of early tuff ones. They where not stamped.I thought the might have been nock offs. From what I understand there where never any skyway look alike mags.Cause skyways had a patent pending design.
