Thats alota bike for a lil guy. Youre lucky....my first BMX bike was a dept store AMF Roadmaster Hawk...that eventually failed at the fork welds and sent my brother to the hospital.

nice bike, I like how the seatpost is all the way down, that was a big bike for you, did you manage to ride it. My first real bmx bike was a team murray dept store bike. I switched alot of parts on it eventually switched the frame

Here's mine...a Schwinn Sting Ray....rode the hell out of this bike...went from training wheels, to bike, to chopper, then converted to BMX around '80/'81...

Awesome, guys. yea I had the seat all the way down, but I rode the hell out of that thing! I wish I still had it, I ended up giving it to a friend, for some reason it suffered major rust issues. after that I had and still have a Schwinn Predador xs

After ten years on a Stingray, I saved my first three paychecks when I was 15 and bought a Team Mongoose. I'm not sure why there is a racing slick on it...

If the bike behind #105, the one that looks like a dad is riding, is a Moosegoose, how could it be? I thought the Moosegoose was a 1980 start up bike, which means it was available in late 1979. Unless, things were different in Australia, and if this is a Moosegoose! Either way, very cool!

Wanted- White Industries Freewhee 19T and 20T, Mongoose Stainless Steel bars for a Moosegoose, and Big Gulp bars- because I think they look goofy enough to cruise with!

First bike was a hand me down purple Stingray. Purple in 79-80 was NOT cool I ditched the banana seat and spray bombed it silver.
Sometime around 1981 my soon to be stepdad took me to a bike shop owned by a former employee of his, the now legendary Freewheeler.
Gordy hooked me up with a lightly used one exactly like this for $190. I remember it like it was yesterday

Santa Claus brought me a 1981 Huffy Pro Thunder Xmas of 81...I swapped most parts out except for the frame and fork and ended up with this til Santa brought me a Hutch Pro Raider Xmas of 84. Only thing left of my original Raider is the frame here, with a survivor replacement Raider in the background. As far as the 81 Huffy Pro Thunder, I recently aquired a near mint replacement of my 1st bike.
WANTED > Everything.
