Dia Compe Tech 7's
Does anybody know what size adjusting barrel fits a set of dia compe tech 7 levers? Missing one and the other looks awful. Need a new set and trying to figure out what and where to order them. Levers are in good shape overall and don't need replaced.
Thanks!

Probably 6mm. They are hard to find. People take them out of other, less expensive and more available levers to use in those. A few other levers, not made by Dia Compe, look like them too. People swap them in as well.

Re: Dia Compe Tech 7's
I've heard Lee Chi Tech V looking levers have the same style barrels. Dia Compe Tech V use the same too. Maybe check with Porkchop.com if you don't mind re-pop. He always has a lot of small brake parts.

Re: Dia Compe Tech 7's
That's funny. I just bought a new dia compe 883 for an old predator made of piece parts I have. And sent an email through eBay asking the same question. It's a tight community still after all these years. Too funny. Thanks for the heads up.

Re: Dia Compe Tech 7's
Cb Lee's suggestions are good. Those levers are common parts donors.

I've been trying to find barrel adjusters for my tech 5 levers that actually accept a metal cable housing furrule like all modern levers do, to avoid that spongy feeling. I've had no luck and I've been through every parts box in every bike shop in town. Nothing seems to be small enough.
Wanted: NOS or Mint Phil Wood all alloy BMX hub set in black or polished.
GT Race Hubs in chrome or black.
2012 55cm Colnago Master X-Light frame. Any colour.

Pretty sure those do not exist unless you drill them. At least I've never seen them. But then again.......there is a lot of things I haven't seen. ![]()
