Electrical service call turned into a great day with a great tip :)
I went to a local house to replace a bad GFI. The person and I started talking after they saw my schwinn sticker on my clip board as I was writing up the bill. Sure enough he said he had a bunch of parts from bitd in his garage that he didnt want or need any more and he would be happy to give them to me since I charged him a reduced rate service call .
Sure enough, this is what he walked out with. Some neat stuff.

I can not sit still. I have been tested for A.D.D. and A.D.H.D. and have neither. I don't need coffee, I just need a B.M.X. or surfboard to consistently ride and I'll be happy.

Headset looks like a hatta I think, but there's no identification any where.
Info on some of this stuff would be great. I know the Suntour roller cams are complete and in superb original finish condition. They will polish out awesome or stay as is for a mint survivor build. ![]()
What's up with both sets of DC levers? They are weird....

Just one of those lucky days.........
Throw a schwinn sticker on your clipboard. I doubt the conversation would have been brought up if I didn't have the sticker.

Yes, that's also what came on the first original specialized rock hoppers too. They are pretty rusted. Not sure if they are sought after or not, I didn't want to throw them away though. The DC levers are really cool on them too and I'm sure someone would be into those suntour shifters.

It's all mountain biking stuff. Bmx parts originally came from these early 80s mtbs I believe in my opinion. You get the cross over parts like the suntour brakes, cranks etc...... That's where it all started in the late 70s early 80s.
