ABOUT THIS PROJECT:
Frame will be StickerLESS, Decalset will be Painted on frame 100% by Hand

ok, here is the thing...

im from Buenos Aires - Argentina,
here in the 80's Decade, import was CLOSED
was reopen in 1993, i believe (when BMX was being erased by MTB)

so.. BMX was something we saw over TV or Magazines
only some kids had the Best bikes because when they go to USA on vacations
they bought some bikes and bring it back with them
....im talking just a bunch of guys, not many

why i started telling all this?
because i want to tell HOW hard is finding any Old School part in here
i try to restore ALL possible OG parts
because some were hard to find, other too expensive to get

so... RESTORE IT !! (wich is the best part from a Project)

This is my Build:

(Thanks to FREESTYLEMASTER, we spent 1 complete Year searching for every part for this project)
then i got stolen, Tech7, SuperPros, Stem & other parts were off my hands, start again, but now im just a few weeks from finish.

That day i was SOOOOO HAPPY

Opening Box

ok..Here is the MASTER
Wich..Under The Skin of Rust... is 10/10 Perfect Body

Fork has a lot of Rust...but is NEW

NEW!

Fork Standers need A LOT OF LOVE (u will see later)
All parts will be Restored, included Plastic Washers

Nippon 883 (1987 Japan Stamped)
OG from F/F
All parts will be Restored, included Brake pads

With Recessed Nut...
a MUST HAVE for all 87/88 Masters
(Brake Pads needs Whitening)

Haro Fluted seatpost (SAE4130)
Needs Re-Chrome and new Chrome Sticker

OG Dia AD-990 Japan (1987 Stamped)

Another Hard-To-Find item..
Peregrine 1st Gen Cranks
(came with No Hardware, bought 3-Party hardware from joe6187)
I will make a new Spindle for a Sealed BB

Peregrine Arms OG screws (the hard-to-find)
Spindle will be changed for a Sealed BB (are making it right now)

Shimano PD-MX15
(Body and Caps will be full restored)
.....later you will see picture of the finished job

Ame (new) Grips

Izumi Chain

Dominator (new) Seat

Shimano SF-MX30 FreeWheel

1st Gen Gyro Cables

Asahi Spokes (184mm - Chromium Plated)

Peregrine 44T Chainwheel (will be restored)
&
NOS Peregrine Platinum Series 44T Chainwheel (Double Sided)

my Frame is Finished, chrome/paint/Artwork (decals) are finished too!
im will get it tomorrow

GT Performer Phene: we have easy access because Internet..
But here the president is not Helping us.
Imports are limited and NOT CHEAP.
Every part i get , customs here ask us to pay Taxes for 50%
so...if i bought some ITEM for $150 and shipping cost is $50 (Total $200)
Customs here ask me to pay 50% of total, ITEM + SHIPPING......so i must pay $100 in Taxes to the customs.
IS A LOT
they even take shipping cost plus product price
amazing
so.. its hard but we can

.... THE RESTORE ....

Removing RUST so i can see bones under the skin

Regular Vinegar (5% Acid) 24hs Bath (only REAR end)
Bottles are only to fill empty spaces,
so i can use Less Vinegar and fill More Volume space

There is after 24hs
now you just need to use a Rag or brush to get the Rust OFF

After cleaning it, i put into water and cleaning with a toothbrush, Dry it WELL (if not Rust going back in minutes)
and then 0000 Stell Wool, and This is what i get

After a full clean with 0000 STEEL WOOL
Now i can see rear body is in Perfect shape... so i can be sure that i can RE-CHROME IT

that Perseverance will be noticed at the end of this Proyect
and is NEAR.

Yo consegui una Haro Master del '88 y la voy a dejar como la consegui, aparte de una limpieza complete jaja. Lo que se es que los stickers en la tuya se van a ver cabron ja.

Excelente! Subi las fotos cuando tengas y me avisas asi las veo
Tengo una carpeta en mi desktop con las fotos del Team Murray
no creas q me olvide, solo q no tengo mucho tiempo por ahora

Mi Haro no va a tener Stickers
Todo el cuadro y los Stickers van a ser pintado a mano

Mañana me lo entregan, si puedo voy a buscarlo mañana mismo

The Floor is called Parquet Floor in here,(same than hardwood floor i believe)
(needs polishing and new acrilic paint)

The Quality on this tires... i have Never..but NEVER felt before.
i'm in Shock!

Tires are Mounted on some Femco Wheels to keep them in shape
